Acceptance of Terms
By creating an account and using this website, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions. If you do not accept these terms and conditions, you must not use our online services.Valid Prescription Requirement
You may only order contact lenses through this website if you have a valid and up-to-date prescription from a registered Optometrist. This includes attending all recommended appointments and follow-ups. In most cases, an annual eye examination is required, although your Optometrist may recommend a different interval.
You are responsible for ensuring the lenses you order match those prescribed by your Optometrist. If you would like i-contacts to check your prescription details, please either provide your Optometrist’s name at checkout or reply to your order confirmation email with a copy of your prescription attached.Safe Use of Contact Lenses
You acknowledge that incorrect use of contact lenses, or use of lenses not prescribed for you, may cause damage to your eyes or vision. You agree to follow the professional advice of your Optometrist, usually with a check-up at least once per year.
If you experience pain, discomfort, or other problems, remove your lenses immediately and consult an Optometrist or eye specialist. Do not wear contact lenses if you suspect you may have an eye infection.Order Cancellation
i-contacts reserves the right to cancel any order. Reasons for cancellation may include (but are not limited to):- Suspicion of fraudulent payment details
- Insufficient or incorrect information provided
- Misuse of the website or ordering system
Pricing Errors / Manifest Errors
While we take care to display accurate prices, errors may occasionally occur. Where a price is clearly inconsistent with our usual pricing (for example, due to a typographical mistake, system error, or missing digit), i-contacts reserves the right to cancel or refund any order placed at the incorrect price.
If this occurs, we will notify you promptly and refund any amount you have already paid. This clause does not affect your rights under New Zealand law.Termination of Membership
i-contacts may suspend or delete your account if we have reasonable grounds to believe you have breached these terms and conditions.Accurate Information
You agree to provide accurate and up-to-date information when registering and placing orders. It is your responsibility to keep your details current.
You must not register under multiple identities. i-contacts reserves the right to remove duplicate or suspicious accounts.Jurisdiction
All parties agree that the courts of New Zealand have exclusive jurisdiction in the event of any dispute arising from these terms or the use of this website.Applicable Law
These terms are governed by the laws of New Zealand, and New Zealand law will apply to any dispute arising from them.Shipping
Orders for items in stock are normally dispatched the same day. For non-stock items, estimated delivery times are displayed on the product page. If an item must be back-ordered, we will notify you, and you may cancel the order without penalty.
We deliver throughout New Zealand, including PO Boxes via NZ Post, and overseas. Additional delivery charges may apply for rural and international delivery.Returns
You may return any item you are not satisfied with within 10 days of receipt, provided it is unopened, undamaged, and in its original packaging. You are responsible for return shipping costs unless the goods are faulty or incorrectly supplied.
For faulty or incorrect goods, please contact us within 10 days, and we will send you a pre-paid courier pack.
Refunds will be issued by the original payment method or as store credit. For overseas orders, refunds will be made in New Zealand dollars (NZD) only and may not cover any exchange rate differences, bank fees, or shipping costs.Pricing
All prices are in New Zealand dollars (NZD) and include Goods and Services Tax (GST). Prices may change at any time.Overseas Orders
Overseas orders are charged in NZD. Additional fees may be charged by your local bank, and you may also be liable for import duties or taxes in your country.
Refunds for overseas orders will be processed in NZD only and will not cover shipping, exchange rate fluctuations, or other charges. Promotions, discounts, or i-points do not apply to international orders.
